漠然とした美意識というか格好良いと感じるもののルーツは必然さから形作られる機能美です。山岳服や野戦装備の説得力に叶うデザインは無いのかもしれませんが、カジュアルウェアであればそれに日常性を持たせる事は必要で、その手段として生地選びの視点に可能性を感じています。
ZIP HOODIEがアウトドアウェアで代用出来ないムードを発するのは、アムンゼンとジョーゼットで切り替えたアウトドアウェアなどは無いから、というよりも先ずその素材を使う理由がアウトドアブランドにも無いからです。
